Message a strut bar for example... a bar of metal is a bar of metal is a bar of
metal. And of the few things I've bought off eBay, none of them are
parts that a) have anything to do with the engine, whose parameters are
more easily affected b) can be measured by a number in terms of
performance.

Specialty Z downpipes will make more power and better response than
eBay downpipes... the question is, is the extra power worth the extra
cash to you? To me, it's worth it. To others, it might not be.

For my strut bar and whatever else I buy off eBay, you can't say a $200
Carbing bar will perform better than my $10 eBay bar. It may fit better,
but I'm willing to sacrifice a little fitment to save a lot of money.
